A while ago I made a peek-a-boo box with CDS. The only problem was that you could only cut it in one size. I have converted the file into a scut file, so it can be made in larger sizes as well, but you have to have the 12 x 24 inch mat to do so. You can find a picture of the finished box by clicking here. Een tijd geleden heb ik de peek-a-boo box gemaakt met CDS. Het enige probleem was dat je hem alleen in één maat kon snijden. Ik heb de file geconverteerd naar een scutfile, zodat je hem ook in grotere maten kunt snijden, mits je een 12 x 24 inch mat hebt. Je kunt een foto van de doos zien door op deze link te klikken. How to get the cricut or scal files / Hoe krijg je de cricut of scal files
Everyday I take a cup a soup and look at the box thinking you could make SO many cute boxes using this dispenser idea. But since I don’t like giving soup as a gift, only for someone who isn’t feeling to well, I thought tea would be a better idea. I made the file as well in George, as in Plantin, as in Don Juan, So it’s for all circut machines. The babybug and create users have to do one step extra by glueing the 2 base pieces together. I didn’t embellish my box yet, cause I was in a hurry and broke the punch I wanted to use:-( Have fun with the file and please share your creations.
As you can see, each cut has it’s own page with scorelines. It works like this. Load you paper and cut the design. Leave your mat in the machine, but set you blade dept to 1 and your pressure to medium. Then go to the page with the scorelines and hit the cut button again. Now it will only make the scorelines very lightly. If you can’t see the scorelines, set the blade dept a little higher or the pressure. Before you cut another design, don’t forget to adjust your blade dept and pressure again!!!

Iedere dag neem ik een cup a soup en kijk naar de doos en bedenk dan dat je leuke doosjes kunt maken met dit dispenser idee. Maar omdat ik soep niet zo leuk vind om te geven, behalve aan iemand die ziek is, bedacht ik dat thee een beter idee was. Ik heb de file gemaakt in zowel George, Plantin en Don Juan, dus hij is geschikt voor alle cricutmachines. De babybug- en creategebruikers moeten een stap extra doen door de 2 basisdelen aan elkaar te lijmen. Ik heb mijn doos nog niet echt gedecoreerd, want ik brak de punch die ik wilde gebruiken:-( Veel plezier ermee en laat alstublieft zien wat je gemaakt hebt.
Zoals je kunt zien heeft iedere cut zijn eigen pagina met scorelijnen. Dat werkt zo. Laad je pagina en snij het patroon. Laat de mat in de machine zitten, maar zet de snijdiepte op 1 en de druk op medium. Ga naar de juiste pagina met de scorelijnen en druk op de snijbutton. Nu zal het de scorelijnen heel lichtjes snijden. Als je ze dan nog niet kunt zien, dan de snijdiepte of de druk iets hoger zetten. Vergeet niet om voor het snijden van een volgend patroon deze instellingen weer aan te passen.

Sweatpie1501 asked the designers on the cricutboard who was interested in making this stationary of Jackie Topa. I had seen it once before and thought it was lovely so I took the challenge in making it. Credits for the design go to Jackie Topa of course, but credits for the cut files are mine.
To make sure no one is left out it’s made for the Big E as well in George as in Plantin Schoolbook. For the babybug it’s made in George and for the create it’s made in Don Juan. For the small babybugowners: The base file has two pieces which you have to glue together in the middle, so you get the same form as shown in the designguide from Jackie Topa. It’s also a bit smaller then the Big E cut, because otherwise it wouldn’t fit on the mat. The other difference is that Jackie uses a full 12 x 12 paper, but since we as big E owners can’t use the whole mat I have adjusted the sizes. This is why there is no room voor the pen holder anymore.

Ik had het al eens eerder gezien en vond hem toen al leuk, dus nam ik de uitdaging aan. Credits voor het ontwerp gaan naar Jackie Topa natuurlijk, maar de credits voor de cutfiles zijn voor mij. Om niemand buiten te sluiten heb ik de file voor de Big E gebruikers gemaakt in zowel George als Plantin Schoolbook. Voor de babybug is hij gemaakt in George en voor de creategebruikers in Don Juan. Voor de babybug gebruikers: De basisfile bestaat uit 2 delen die je in het midden aan elkaar moet plakken zodat je dezelfde figuur krijgt als in de designguide van Jackie Topa. Hij is ook wat kleiner dan die van de Big E, anders paste het niet op de pagina. Nog een verschil is dat Jackie een volledig vel 12 x 12 papier gebruikt, maar omdat wij als Big E gebruikers niet de hele mat kunnen gebruiken heb ik ook hiervan het formaat iets moeten aanpassen, waardoor de penhouder niet meer geplaatst kan worden.

Last week we were invited tonight to get acquainted with our new neighbours. Since she is pregnant, I thought it would be nice to give them something for the baby instead of some flowers or chocolate.
I bought a onesie/onezie and made an 8 x 8 x 1,5 inch box for it, so I don’t have to gift wrap it. I cut out the bean and baby from the New Arrival Cartridge and kept it all in the same colours as the gift. I made the box as well in George as in Plantin Schoolbook. Unfortunally, because of the size, you cannot use it for the babybug. Hope you enjoy it anyway.
Vorige week werden we voor vanavond uitgenodigd om nader kennis te maken met onze nieuwe buren. Omdat ze zwanger is, leek het mij leuker om iets voor de baby te geven dan een bos bloemen of chocola. Ik heb een luierpakje gekocht en heb er een 8 x 8 x 1,5 inch doos voor gemaakt, zodat ik het niet hoef in te pakken. Ik heb de boon met de baby uitgesneden van de New Arrival Cartridge en heb alles in dezelfde kleuren gehouden als het cadeautje. Ik heb de doos gemaakt in zowel George als Plantin Schoolbook. Helaas is hij vanwege de grootte niet babybug compatible. Ik hoop dat je hem desondanks toch leuk vindt.

As promised today the adjustable retangle box. It’s made in George and as an SVG file and you can make it in any size your cricut machine allows you. Remember to make the top a little bit bigger then the box.
Instructions: Cut the box and cut the top. Score the lines as width as the length of your inside cuts. Glue the small square parts on the inside of the box. I have embellished my box with two hearts of the George cartridge and I punched some leaves again with the Clever lever Giga Craft Punch. Filled with chocolate it’s a great gift for Valentines day, but you can embellish your box as you wish. As you can see, I made a box divider. You can make it by measuring the length or width of the box and adding twice the hight. Then fold it valley/hill/valley where you want it. Have fun with it.
Zoals beloofd vandaag de aanpasbare rechthoekige doos. Hij is gemaakt in George en als SVG file en je kunt hem in elke maat maken die je cricut toelaat. Denk eraan om de bovenkant iets groter te trekken dan de doos zelf.
Instructies: Snij de doos en het deksel. Score de lijnen even ver van de kant als de lengte van de inkepingen. Lijm de smalle vierkantjes aan de binnenkant van de doos. Ik heb mijn doos versierd met 2 harten van de George cartridge en ik heb weer wat bladeren geponst met de Clever lever Giga Craft Punch. Gevuld met chocolade is het een leuk cadeautje voor Valentijnsdag, maar jij kunt jouw doos naar eigen wens versieren. Zoals je kunt zien heb ik er een doosverdeler in gemaakt. Die maak je door de hoogte 2 keer bij de lengte of breedte op te tellen en dan een dal/berg/dalvouw op de plaats waar je hem wil hebben. Veel plezier ermee.
I promised you yesterday the adjustable square box, so here it is. I was a bit lazy, so I used the same topper as I used on the pizzabox:-) This box has two cutfiles, 1 box and 1 top. Make sure you make the top a little bit bigger then your box, so the top fits perfectly over the box. The file is babybug compatible, just change the mat site into 6 x 12 and adjust the box size.

Ik was een beetje lui, dus heb ik dezelfde versiering gebruikt als op de pizzadoos:-) De doos heeft 2 cutfiles, de doos zelf en het deksel. Zorg ervoor dat je het deksel net ietsje groter maakt dan de doos, zodat hij er goed overheen valt. De file is babybug compatible, verander gewoon de mat in 6 x 12 en maak de doos wat kleiner.

Today I made another money card holder but then in combination with a Tic Tac Pocket. The money pocket is only big enough to place some folded bills and not big enough for gift cards. I made two files, one with and one without the money pocket. It’s made totally in George and suitable for all cricutmachines.

Vandaag het ik nog een geldkaarthouder gemaakt, in combinatie met een Tic Tac-houder. De geldpocket is alleen geschikt voor wat opgevouwen biljetten en is niet groot genoeg voor cadeaukaarten. Ik heb twee files gemaakt, één met en één zonder een geldpocket. Hij is helemaal in George gemaakt en geschikt voor alle cricutmachines.
