I have the downloadrules at the top of my blog with the demand to read it first, but some people don’t care and therefore someone asked for 197 files tonight. How gready is that. I don’t believe it. At top of that she copied and pasted the same message totally disregarding the many houres I spend to make these files.

So if you demand a file and you won’t get it because gmail has blocked me again for 24 houres, thanks Christina.

Ik heb de downloadregels bovenaan mijn blog staan met het verzoek die eerst te lezen, maar sommige mensen geven nergens om en vragen rustig 197 files op. Wat ontzettend inhalig. Ik kan het gewoon niet geloven. Bovendien ook nog door het bericht te kopieren en te plakken. Totale minachting voor alle uren werk die ik erin heb gestopt.

Dus mocht je een file aanvragen dan krijg je hem nu niet omdat gmail mij weer geblocked heeft voor 24 uur, bedankt Christina.

It was very inconveniant that there where no extended cuttlebug plates untill now. At http://www.craftathome.co.uk/your-plates-p-9631.html?cPath=270_271_670  you can order your extended plates for BP 37,50. Shipping costs to the Netherlands is only 3 pounds.

A set of these plates used in the correct combination will allow you to cut Sizziz Bigz dies, Spellbinders 12″ border dies, Quickutz 12″ dies, Sizzlets 12″ dies as well as allowing you to double up on the normal amount you can cut or emboss in one pass.The plates come clearly labelled with full instructions for using all major brands of die.

The Sizzix Bigz Pro can’t be cut with these plates because the cuttlebug isn’t width enough for these dies.

You would think that Provocraft could have come up with this themselves don’t you? Well, it’s their lost.

Update: All of the sudden they don’t ship to the Netherlands anymore. I’m curious if i’m going to get my order…. What to do next? Buy the extended plates from  Sizzix and cut of half an inch with a saw. They are as thick as the B-plates from the cuttlebug.

Je zou toch denken dat Provocraft hier zelf ook op had kunnen komen niet dan? Nou ja, daar gaat hun winst.

Update: Opeens willen ze niet meer leveren naar Nederland, benieuwd op ik mijn order nog krijg. Wat nu? Koop de Sizzix extended platen en zaag er een halve inch af. Ze zijn even dik als de B-platen van cuttlebug.

There are people who ask for every file on my blog in one day. However, my provider and gmail have a limit to how many emails I can send per day, which is 100 emails per day. You can imagine with more then 200 files on my blog that’s not much. This was an unpleasant surprise for me too.

So if one person asks for all my files it means that no one else is getting the download links they requested.

Also if a big part of my emails can’t be delivered because several people didn’t give their proper email address, my account will be blocked by gmail and no-one will receive my emails with the download links. So please check your email address carefully when you typed it.

So if you just have found my blog, don’t ask for more then 4 files a day. I promiss I won’t take them of my site. This rule doesn’t comply for the donation files. You can always ask for those by making a donation with the description of the file.

Since I think everybody deserves my files i will block people if they can’t respect this new rule, so they don’t receive any more files in the future.

Er zijn mensen die alle files op één dag opvragen. Maar mijn provider en gmail hebben een maximum gesteld aan het aantal emails wat ik per dag mag versturen, dat zijn er 100 per dag. Je kunt je voorstellen met meer dan 200 files op mijn blog dat dat niet veel is. Dit was ook een onaangename verrassing voor mij.

Dus als één persoon alle files opvraagt, houdt dat in dat anderen de downloadlink die ze hebben aangevraagd niet zullen ontvangen.

Ook wordt mijn account geblokkeerd door gmail als een groot deel van de automatisch verzonden emails niet bezorgd kunnen worden omdat personen een verkeerd of niet goed gespeld emailadres opgeven. Dus kijk aub je emailadres zorgvuldig na wanneer je het intypt.

Dus als je mijn blog net ontdekt hebt, vraag dan niet meer dan 4 files per dag aan. Ik beloof dat ik ze niet van de site zal halen. Deze regel geldt niet voor de donatiefiles. Hier kan je altijd naar vragen door een donatie met de omschrijving van de file.

Omdat ik vind dat iedereen mijn files zou moeten kunnen ontvangen zal ik diegene die deze nieuwe regel niet respecteert blokkeren zodat ze in de toekomst geen files meer ontvangen.

Since the birds in this country are not used to much snow and ice, the government has asked us to feed them. I think this is probably the hardest winter for them in many years. It’s freezing a lot and almost every week there is snow. I have put some seed containers in the tree in front of our house and our neighbour hanged some apples in it as well. It gave me the chance to make these great pictures. I hope any of you can tell me the name of the first bird, because I don’t have a clue:-)

Update thanks to Dineke’s husband:  It’s a “Kramsvogel”, at least that’s the dutch word for it. Don’t know the english translation.

Update 2: In english it’s called a Fieldfare. Thank you Dineke and Sue.

Omdat de vogels in ons land niet veel sneeuw en ijs gewend zijn, heeft de overheid ons gevraagd ze bij te voederen. Ik denk dat het één van de strengste winters is in de afgelopen jaren. Het vriest vaak en bijna iedere week sneeuwt het wel. Ik heb wat zaadcontainers in de boom voor het huis gehangen en de buurvrouw heeft er wat appels ingedaan. Ik kreeg hierdoor de kans om deze mooie foto’s te maken. Ik hoop dat één van jullie me de naam van de vogel op de eerste foto kan vertellen, want ik heb geen idee:-)
