Today I made those little scrapbook embellishments. Great to write your journaling on but it’s also very cute on a card. I made it in 5 different colours and it’s for free! Just leave me a comment and you will receive an email with the download links. It’s a zipfile, so you have to unzip it before you can use them.

Vandaag heb ik deze kleine scrapbookembellishments gemaakt. Heel leuk om je journaling op te schrijven maar ook leuk om op een kaart te gebruiken. Today i tried my hand on making a windmill with several layers as SVG and as Studio file (silhouette file). We live in a country whith still lots of those mills. Unfortunally a windmill of more then 200 years old burned down last week due to 2 boys in the age of 12 and 14 years old. The windmill is for free for all my dropbox users for 24 houres. After that it will be available in the webshop, the first week on sale. I hope you enjoy it:-)

Vandaag heb ik geprobeerd een windmolen te maken met verschillende lagen, als SVG en als Studio file (silhouette file). We wonen in een land met nog veel van deze molens. Helaas is er vorige week één van meer dan 200 jaar oud afgebrand door toedoen van 2 jongens van 12 en 14 jaar oud. De molen is de eerste 24 uur gratis voor al mijn dropboxgebruikers, daarna is hij verkrijgbaar in de webwinkel, de eerste week in de aanbieding. Veel plezier ermee:-)

Last week I made this birthday card for my youngest son, who has turned 12 this year. He is growing fast en will go to pre-university after the summer. He will be going to a bilingual secondary science education school. At least half of the classes will be given in english, so after this school he will speak english as fluently as a native english speaking person. We are very proud of him. Since he was 6 years old he told us he wanted to be a doctor, so this is a good start:-) For the card i used Echo Park paper and embellishments and to cut it all I used my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. I keep saying it, a far better machine then the cricut. Vorige week heb ik deze verjaardagskaart gemaakt voor mijn jongste zoon, die alweer 12 is geworden dit jaar. Hij wordt snel groot en gaat na de zomer naar het tweetalig gymnasium. Minstens de helft van de lessen wordt gegeven in het engels, dus na deze school spreekt hij net zo vloeiend engels als een engelsman. We zijn erg trots op hem. Sinds zijn 6de vertelde hij ons al dat hij dokter wil worden, dus dit is een goede start:-) Voor de kaart heb ik Echo Park papier en embellishments gebruikt en voor het snijden van dit alles heb ik de Silhouette Cameo snijmachine gebruikt. Ik blijf het roepen, een veel betere machine dan de cricut! BVHK.

Today I tried my hand on making a doily. It became this Fleur de Lis Doily. I really love it and can you believe you can cut all these shapes below with just one file? You only have to break the file apart, select the parts you want to remove, merge everything together again and start cutting. The file is for free for the first 24 houres for ALL my followers. Just leave a comment and you will receive an email with the download links. After that you will find it in my webshop. The file is available as SVG and as a Studio file.

Vandaag heb ik geprobeert een doily te maken. Het werd deze Fleur de Lis Doily. Ik vind hem prachtig geworden en kun je geloven dat je alle figuren hieronder kunt snijden met maar één file? Je hoeft alleen maar de paden van de file los te maken, daarna haal je alles weg wat je niet gesneden wilt hebben, voeg daarna de paden weer samen en begin met snijden. De file is de eerste 24 uur gratis voor AL mijn volgers. Laat een “comment” achter en je ontvangt automatisch een email met de downloadlinks. Daarna vind je de file in mijn webshop. De file is verkrijgbaar als SVG en als Studio file.

Today I made this 3D soother file. I was expirimenting a bit to make something for on a cake box. I think it’s a great embellishment for a babyshower or a garland. You can find the studio file and the SVG file in my webshop, the first week on sale.

Vandaag heb ik deze 3D fopspeen file gemaakt. Ik was een beetje aan het expirimenteren voor iets op een cakedoosje. Ik vind het een leuke versiering voor op babycadeautjes of aan een slinger. Je kunt de studio file en de SVG file vinden in mijn webshop, de eerste week in de aanbieding.

This week I made two new birthday cards. For the first card I bought the digital papers at http://www.jessicasprague.com and it’s called This and That Graceful from Echo park. I traced the hot air balloon in my Silhouette Studio and used the papers to fill up the scalloped border, the retangled border and the ric rac, so that it all matched. I typed “Gefeliciteerd” on the mat, set it to “no cutting” and then made a shadow around it, wich has been cut. If you don’t have a Silhouette yet, I can tell, it’s fabulous. I love it more then my cricut because of the print and cut function. You can now use all your digital papers any time you want to. So if you want to make a quick card, you don’t have to run of to the store to buy some papers, you can just print it yourself. I love that!

Deze week heb ik twee nieuwe verjaardagskaarten gemaakt. Voor de eerste kaart heb ik digitaal papier gekocht van http://www.jessicasprague.com en het heet This and That Graceful van Echo park. Ik traceerde de luchtballon in mijn Silhouette Studio en gebruikte het papier om de overige vormen op te vullen, zodat alles op elkaar afgestemd was. Ik typte “Gefeliciteerd” op de mat, die heb ik ingesteld op “niet snijden” en daarna heb ik er een schaduw omheen gemaakt die wel gesneden werd. Als je nog niet beschikt over een Silhouette kan ik je vertellen, dat hij geweldig is. Ik vind hem beter dan mijn cricut als gevolg van de print en snij-functie. Je kunt nu al je digitale papier gebruiken, wanneer je maar wilt. Dus als je een snelle kaart wil maken, hoef je niet meteen naar de winkel om wat papier te kopen, je kunt het gewoon zelf printen. Ik hou daar wel van!

For the second card I made a file that looks like the new Sizzix pop-up dies, which will be available in the summer. I couldn’t wait that long so I tried my hand on it and made a cutfile in my Designer Silhouette Studio. I really love how it turned out. I’m definately going to buy these dies. I love pop-ups and I love dies, since I can use them without a PC or a cutting machine. Very easy if you are in a hurry or if you want to take something with you on a vacation.

Bij de tweede kaart heb ik een bestand gemaakt dat lijkt op de nieuwe Sizzix pop-up die, die beschikbaar zal zijn in de zomer. Ik kon niet zo lang wachten, dus heb ik er een snijfile van gemaakt in mijn Designer Silhouette Studio. Ik vind het goed gelukt. Ik ga deze pop-up dies zeker kopen. Ik hou van pop-ups en ik hou van dies, omdat ik ze kan gebruiken zonder een PC of een snijmachine. Erg makkelijk als je haast hebt of als je iets mee wil nemen op vakantie.

Mocht je interesse hebben in een Silhouette Snijmachine, mijn SD machine is nog te koop en voor mijn volgers gaat hij weg voor € 175,00 excl. verzendkosten. Hij heeft nog meer dan een jaar garantie, wordt geleverd met alle toebehoren, aansluitkabels, software, nieuwe matten, nieuw snijmesje, cadeaukaart voor de online winkel om designs te kopen voor 10 dollar etc. Als klap op de vuurpijl mag je ook nog 20 designs uitzoeken in mijn webshop. Voor de print en snijfunctie voldoet deze machine uitstekend, want tenzij je een A3 printer hebt, moet je toch alles op A4 printen dus kun je ook maximaal A4 printen en snijden!

Last week, in between all the renovation of our house, I made this little box for my sister who celebrated her birthday. I used some Sizzix and Tim Holtz dies, so I could make it from chipboard. Then I inked and stamped the chipboard with different kinds of ranger ink. TFL.

Vorige week, tussen de verbouwing van ons huis door, heb ik dit doosje gemaakt voor mijn zus die haar verjaardag vierde. Ik heb Sizzix en Tim Holtz dies gebruikt, zodat ik het van grijsboard kon maken. Vervolgens heb ik het grijsboard geinkt en bestempeld met verschillende kleuren ranger inkt. TFL.

Today I made this Silhouette Studio file from a Pop-up Love Card with Spiral Heart. The designer software from Silhouette is easy to use and it let’s you cut through lines etc, which makes it easy to make pop-up files. The file is available in my webshop and the first week on sale.

Vandaag heb ik deze Silhouette Studio file gemaakt van een Pop-up Love kaart met spiraal hart. De designer software van Silhouette is zo gemakkelijk te gebruiken en laat het toe dat je lijnen doorsnijd etc, wat het heel makkelijk maakt om pop-ups te maken. De file is verkrijgbaar in mijn webshop en de eerste week in de aanbieding.

I also made this card for my brother who started living together with his new girlfriend. I used the sizzix Tim Holtz die for the tree, but that could easely be replaced with the Tree.svg or Tree.studio I made last week.

Ik heb ook deze kaart nog gemaakt voor mijn broer, die ging samenwonen met zijn nieuwe vriendin. Ik heb de Sizzix Tim Holtz die gebruikt voor de boom, maar je kunt hem makkelijk vervangen voor de Tree.svg of Tree.studio die ik vorige week heb gemaakt.

Since I love dies but can’t afford them all, I have made these 3D spiral flower 01 and 3D spiral flower 02  in PSP (i so love that program) and then traced as SVG and Studio file. They are slightly difference then the original dies, but I think they turned out pritty well. You can find the files in my webshop, on sale in the first week.

Omdat ik dol ben op dies, maar ze me niet allemaal kan veroorloven heb ik deze 3D spiraalbloem 01 en 3D spiraalbloem 02 gemaakt in PSP (ik ben dol op dat programma) en daarna getraceerd als SVG en Studio file. Ze zijn wel iets anders dan de dies, maar ik denk dat ze goed gelukt zijn. Je kunt ze vinden in mijn webshop, de eerste week in de aanbieding.
