This month my designteam member Wietske and I made some cards with the dress form. The file is available in SVG and in Studio file and the first week on sale.
Deze maand hebben mijn designteamlid Wietske en ik wat kaarten gemaakt met de paspop. De file is verkrijgbaar in SVG en in Studiofile, de eerste week in de aanbieding.
Wegens aanschaf van een Silhouette Cameo is mijn Silhouette SD te koop. Met een Silhouette SD, die je aansluit op de PC, kun je in combinatie met de gratis software Silhouette Studio, bestanden laten snijden. De machine is ruim een half jaar geleden aangeschaft dus er zit nog 1 jaar en 4 maanden garantie op. Hij wordt geleverd met alle bijbehorende snoeren, mesje, extra mesje, nederlandse beschrijving en 2 snijmatten. Bij verzending dien je vooraf te betalen. De vraagprijs is € 200,00 excl. aangetekende verzendkosten. Indien je belangstelling hebt voor deze snijmachine kun je me emailen op info(apestaartje)scrappedlives(punt)nl. Haal alle info tussen aanhalingstekens weg en vervang deze voor het teken wat erin beschreven wordt. Dit heb ik op deze manier gedaan zodat de robotmachines mijn emailadres niet kunnen misbruiken. Ik bied hem ook aan op marktplaats, weg is weg! (monitor niet inbegrepen)
Today I made this Silhouette Studio file from a Pop-up Love Card with Spiral Heart. The designer software from Silhouette is easy to use and it let’s you cut through lines etc, which makes it easy to make pop-up files. The file is available in my webshop and the first week on sale.
Vandaag heb ik deze Silhouette Studio file gemaakt van een Pop-up Love kaart met spiraal hart. De designer software van Silhouette is zo gemakkelijk te gebruiken en laat het toe dat je lijnen doorsnijd etc, wat het heel makkelijk maakt om pop-ups te maken. De file is verkrijgbaar in mijn webshop en de eerste week in de aanbieding.
I also made this card for my brother who started living together with his new girlfriend. I used the sizzix Tim Holtz die for the tree, but that could easely be replaced with the Tree.svg or Tree.studio I made last week.
Ik heb ook deze kaart nog gemaakt voor mijn broer, die ging samenwonen met zijn nieuwe vriendin. Ik heb de Sizzix Tim Holtz die gebruikt voor de boom, maar je kunt hem makkelijk vervangen voor de Tree.svg of Tree.studio die ik vorige week heb gemaakt.
Since I love dies but can’t afford them all, I have made these 3D spiral flower 01 and 3D spiral flower 02 in PSP (i so love that program) and then traced as SVG and Studio file. They are slightly difference then the original dies, but I think they turned out pritty well. You can find the files in my webshop, on sale in the first week.
Omdat ik dol ben op dies, maar ze me niet allemaal kan veroorloven heb ik deze 3D spiraalbloem 01 en 3D spiraalbloem 02 gemaakt in PSP (ik ben dol op dat programma) en daarna getraceerd als SVG en Studio file. Ze zijn wel iets anders dan de dies, maar ik denk dat ze goed gelukt zijn. Je kunt ze vinden in mijn webshop, de eerste week in de aanbieding.
For making a backup from your Silhouette files you have to make your hidden folders visible. Go to organize->folder and search options->”view” tab…
This folder name shows up in other places, but the one located in “Program Data” is the one that has your library. It’s updated anytime you add/delete in the library.
For Windows 7 copy this directory:
C :\ProgramData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.8
and if you have purchased a license for the designer version you also have to copy this directory:
C :\ProgramData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.license
For Window Vista copy this directory:
C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.8
and if you have purchased a license for the designer version you also have to copy this directory:
C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.license
Mac: Please open your “Finder” program and go to Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.8.
Om je Silhouettebestanden te kunnen backuppen moet je eerst je verborgen folders zichtbaar maken. Ga naar de verkenner en klik op de C schijf.
Klik in de menubalk op extra – mapopties
Kijk of “alle mappen weergeven” aangevinkt staat.
Klik op het tabblad “weergave”
Scrol naar “Verborgen bestanden en mappen en vink “verborgen bestanden, mappen en stations weergeven” aan!
Voor het backuppen van je silhouettebestanden kopieer je de volgende directories in zijn geheel.
Voor Windows 7 kopieer deze directory:
C :\ProgramData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.8
en als je een license voor de uitgebreide software hebt gekocht, ook deze:
C :\ProgramData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.license
In Windows Vista kopieer je de volgende directories:
C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.8
en als je een license voor de uitgebreide software hebt gekocht, ook deze:
C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\com.aspexsoftware.Silhouette_Studio.license

One of my designteam members made something with the Bag.svg as wel and here is the result. They are super cute as a birthday gift, filled with a small gift ic. with money or a gift card. You can find the file in my webshop and it’s available as SVG file and as Silhouette file. Tip: Turn the scorelines into dotted lines or make them invisable in the layer menu. Otherwise it will cut those as well and the whole bag will fall apart. Somehow Scal doesn’t remember they have to be dotted lines. I have reported this issue to Scal, but haven’t heard from them yet .
Eén van mijn designteamleden is ook aan de slag gegaan met het tasje.svg en dit is het resultaat. Ze zijn ook superleuk om als verjaardagscadeautje te geven, gevuld met iets kleins ic met geld of een cadeaukaart. Je kunt de file vinden in mijn webshop en hij is verkrijgbaar als SVG file en als Silhouettefile. Tip: zet de scorelijnen om naar stippellijnen of zet ze uit (in het lagenmenu), anders snijdt hij die ook en valt alles uit elkaar. Op één of andere manier onthoudt Scal niet meer dan het stippellijnen moeten zijn. Ik heb dit gemeld bij Scal maar heb niet niets van ze gehoord.
Today I made this file of this cute little bag. If you cut it like it is, it’s big enough to fit a lipstick or some candy, a giftcard, two tea lights or whatever else you come up with. Really cute as a gift for Christmas. I have made one version with two different tops. A simple one, like you see in the picture, and a scalloped one. Of course you can dress it up more, but I kept it simple so you could see what’s in the file. However, you do need 4 little brads to make this bag. It’s available as an SVG file or as a Studio file. Als je hem snijdt zoals ik hem heb gemaakt is hij groot genoeg voor een lippenstift, wat snoep, een cadeaukaart, 2 waxinelichtjes of wat je maar wilt. Een heel leuk cadeautje voor de Kerst. Ik heb een versie gemaakt met twee verschillende bovenkanten. Natuurlijk kun je hem nog veel meer versieren, maar ik heb hem simpel gehouden zodat je kunt zien wat er in de file zit. Je hebt wel 4 kleine brads nodig om dit tasje te maken. Een simpele, zoals op de foto en één met een geschulpte rand. Verkrijgbaar als SVG file of als Studio file.
