I made this album about 1,5 year ago for a friend and collegue of my husband. They had a darling little boy so I made many pictures of him. The album is made in the form of a wallet. It was once a workshop on one of the msn-groups I joined. TFL.
Dit album heb ik ongeveer 1,5 jaar geleden gemaakt voor een vriend en collega van mijn man. Zij hadden een schattig zoontje waar ik veel foto’s van heb gemaakt. Het albumpje heeft de vorm van een portemonnaie en was een workshop op een voormalig msn scrapgroep. Bedankt voor het kijken.
This week I made a wordbook, a minialbum for the baby of our friends. I made this with the help of the cricut designstudio. I love that program:-) The parents can put the pictures in the album at the white area’s and I left some space for journaling as well. Here is the result. TFL.
Deze week heb ik een woordboek gemaakt, een minialbum voor de baby van onze vrienden. Ik heb hem gemaakt met de cricut designstudio. Ik ben dol op dat programma. De ouders kunnen zelf de foto’s erin plakken op de witte gedeeltes en ik heb ruimte gelaten voor wat journaling. Hier is het resultaat. Bedankt voor het kijken.
We in Europe have trouble opening the cut files which are made by American designers in the cricut designstudio. My husband is an IT professional and he found the problem which is easy to solve.
In America, all files are saved with the American notation of the date inside the file. For example: 29 july 2008 = 07/29/2008. In Europe the computers register this date as 29-07-2008. So when we try to open a cutfile with the American date in it, it won’t open.
Open the cutfile in this program and at the right side of the screen somewhere close to the top, you see the date. (I made it pink in the picture) If it has for example the date 07/29/2008 change the 29 in whatever month you want from 1-12. Then save it and you can open your file in cricut design studio.

Cricut file not available for free anymore / Cricut file niet meer gratis verkrijgbaar.
On internet I had seen several different versions of a Travel portfolio. I wanted one that was reusable. One were i could store my premade scrapbookpages and folders and tickets or other memorabilia. It measures 8,5 x 11 inches. On the right side I placed 2 times 5 page protectors of 5×7 inches and on the left a variaty of pageprotectors in different sizes. Of one I made an envelope.
Op internet was ik al vele malen verschillende versies van een reisportfolio tegengekomen. Ik wilde echter graag een herbruikbare. Een waar ik de van te voren gemaakte pagina’s voor een minialbum in op kon bergen en waar ruimte was om bonnetjes en folders te bewaren. Het resultaat zie je hieronder. De afmetingen zijn 20,5 x 27 cm. Aan de rechterkant heb ik 2 maal 5 pageprotectors van 5 x 7 inch geplaatst en aan de linkerkant verschillende formaten pageprotectors, waarvan 1 omgetoverd is in een envelop.
Last week I finally finished my mini album about our summer vacation. I didn’t work on it a lot during the trip, but it was a good thing that I had taken my scrapbooking stuff with me.
Vorige week heb ik eindelijk mijn minialbum van onze zomervakantie afgemaakt. Ik had toch te weinig in de vakantie zelf gedaan, maar desalniettemin was het fijn om mijn scrapspullen bij me te hebben.
In january we finally made some pictures of the women in our family. Of course these pictures had to be scrapped. The album is made with the envelope template of Coluzzle. On the last picture you see my sister with my gorgeous husband:-)
In januari dit jaar hebben we eindelijk eens wat foto’s gemaakt van de vrouwen in onze familie. Dat moest natuurlijk gescrapped worden. Het albumpje is gemaakt met een enveloptemplate van coluzzle. Op de laatste foto zie je mijn zus met mijn knappe echtgenoot:-)
