Ik was lekker bezig met die nestabilities, dus ik dacht dat ik ook maar een geschulpte cirkel moest maken. Marjorie at the cricutboard asked for a cut file of this cute mini album which was at Splitcoasters.com. Several people maid an attempt. Here is my cut file, made as well in George as in Plantin Schoolbook. I have made my album yesterday, but didn’t get the chance to finish it. When it’s ready, i will show you the end result. Have fun with it.
Instructions: Cut the file. If you want, use a corner rounder to cut of the corners, but don’t do it at the left bottom of your book! Fold the side flaps carefully to the other side end press the fold. This is a very precise work, otherwise it won’t fit, so don’t score them!!. Then score the lines of the base as it tells you in the cut file. Glue your pages or alternative pages as mats on the base or just attach pictures of the same size. Don’t put pictures on every page, so you get a more playful effect. For closing use a strip of paper. I used my leafpunches from Clever lever Giga Craft Punch Embossing and my Fairy Niobe Punch again. Here is the cut file I made of this punch.

Wanneer hij klaar is zal ik hem hier laten zien. Veel plezier ermee.
Instructies: Snij de file. Als je wilt gebruik dan een hoekenpons om je hoeken af te ronden, doe dit alleen niet links onderaan je boekje!! Vouw de pagina’s zorgvuldig naar de andere kant en druk dan de vouw plat. Die is een heel precies werkje, anders past het niet, dus niet scoren!!! Score dan de lijnen van je basis zoals in de cutfile staat aangegeven. Lijm je pagina’s of alternatieve pagina’s als matten op de basis of plak er foto’s in van hetzelfde formaat. Voor een speels effect is het leuker om niet op alle pagina’s foto’s te plakken. Gebruik voor de sluiting een strook papier. Ik heb weer mijn leafpunches van Clever lever Giga Craft Punch Embossing en mijn Fairy Niobe Pons gebruikt. Hier kun je de cutfile vinden die ik gemaakt heb van deze pons.

It has been a lot of years ago since we had so much ice for such a long time. So we took advantace of it and tried to learn Joost how to skate on ice. For me, it was more then 20 years ago, so I had to learn it all over again. I made a little file folder album (4×5 inches) with the cricut to keep those memories. I made the file as well in George as in Plantin Schoolbook and because I didn’t want to leave anyone out, I made also a babybug file, but it is a little bit more work to make that one. With the downloadlinks there is also one which contains the designguide. I would really want to see what you make with my file. So please share your creations. Hope you enjoy it.

Het was lang geleden dat we zoveel ijs, voor zolang hadden. We hebben er flink van geprofiteerd en geprobeerd Joost het schaatsen op ijs bij te brengen. Voor mij was het al meer dan 20 jaar geleden, dus ik moest het ook helemaal opnieuw leren. Ik heb een klein filefolderalbumpje (4×5 inches) gemaakt met de cricut om de herinneringen in te bewaren. Ik heb de file gemaakt zowel in George als in Plantin Schoolbook en omdat ik niemand wilde buitensluiten heb ik ook een babybug file gemaakt. Deze vergt iets meer werk om in elkaar te zetten. Bij de dowloadlinks vind je er ook één met een werkbeschrijving. Ik ben erg benieuwd wat jullie er van maken, dus laat het me alstublieft zien. Veel plezier ermee.

Ik probeer mijn zoon het schaatsen te leren, maar ik blijf zelf nauwelijks rechtop, het is erg glad als je al 20 jaar niet meer geschaatst hebt.

I really wanted to make a more manly giftcard, so I played around with my new Sports Mania cartridge. This is what I came up with. The file is made as wel as in George and Sports Mania as in Plantin Schoolbook and Sports Mania. You can put a gift card or money in it and a mini candybar (mini hershey’s, kitkat) or tic tac’s. Have fun with it.
Ik wilde heel graag een wat mannelijker cadeaukaart maken, dus heb ik wat gespeeld met mijn nieuwe Sports Mania Cartridge. En dit is het geworden. De file is gemaakt zowel in George en Sports Mania als in Plantin Schoolbook en Sports Mania. My mother-in-law asked me to make a gift card for an aunt of her who is going to be 80 years old. Since JodyP had made such a beautiful Gift Card Holder, I wanted to make one too, but I wanted to make a really big one and it had to have a moneypocket in it. I ended up making it in two sizes. One is 5 x 7 inches (babybug compatible, just change the matsize) and the other one is 7 x 9 inches. For our great aunt I made the largest one. I also made the instructions on how to assemble it. The file is made with the JOTS cartridge only. Enjoy it.

Mijn schoonmoeder vroeg me om een cadeaukaart te maken voor haar tante die 80 jaar wordt. Omdat JodyP zo’n prachtige cadeaukaarthouder had gemaakt wilde ik er ook één maken, maar ik wilde een hele grote en het moest een geldpocket hebben. Ik heb er uiteindelijk 2 gemaakt. Één is 5 x 7 inches (babybug compatible, verander gewoon de grootte van de mat) en de andere is 7 x 9 inches. Voor onze oudtante heb ik de grootste gemaakt. Last week we were invited tonight to get acquainted with our new neighbours. Since she is pregnant, I thought it would be nice to give them something for the baby instead of some flowers or chocolate.
I bought a onesie/onezie and made an 8 x 8 x 1,5 inch box for it, so I don’t have to gift wrap it. I cut out the bean and baby from the New Arrival Cartridge and kept it all in the same colours as the gift. I made the box as well in George as in Plantin Schoolbook. Unfortunally, because of the size, you cannot use it for the babybug. Hope you enjoy it anyway.
Vorige week werden we voor vanavond uitgenodigd om nader kennis te maken met onze nieuwe buren. Omdat ze zwanger is, leek het mij leuker om iets voor de baby te geven dan een bos bloemen of chocola. Ik heb een luierpakje gekocht en heb er een 8 x 8 x 1,5 inch doos voor gemaakt, zodat ik het niet hoef in te pakken. Ik heb de boon met de baby uitgesneden van de New Arrival Cartridge en heb alles in dezelfde kleuren gehouden als het cadeautje. Ik heb de doos gemaakt in zowel George als Plantin Schoolbook. Helaas is hij vanwege de grootte niet babybug compatible. Ik hoop dat je hem desondanks toch leuk vindt.

As promised today the adjustable retangle box. It’s made in George and as an SVG file and you can make it in any size your cricut machine allows you. Remember to make the top a little bit bigger then the box.
Instructions: Cut the box and cut the top. Score the lines as width as the length of your inside cuts. Glue the small square parts on the inside of the box. I have embellished my box with two hearts of the George cartridge and I punched some leaves again with the Clever lever Giga Craft Punch. Filled with chocolate it’s a great gift for Valentines day, but you can embellish your box as you wish. As you can see, I made a box divider. You can make it by measuring the length or width of the box and adding twice the hight. Then fold it valley/hill/valley where you want it. Have fun with it.
Zoals beloofd vandaag de aanpasbare rechthoekige doos. Hij is gemaakt in George en als SVG file en je kunt hem in elke maat maken die je cricut toelaat. Denk eraan om de bovenkant iets groter te trekken dan de doos zelf.
Instructies: Snij de doos en het deksel. Score de lijnen even ver van de kant als de lengte van de inkepingen. Lijm de smalle vierkantjes aan de binnenkant van de doos. Ik heb mijn doos versierd met 2 harten van de George cartridge en ik heb weer wat bladeren geponst met de Clever lever Giga Craft Punch. Gevuld met chocolade is het een leuk cadeautje voor Valentijnsdag, maar jij kunt jouw doos naar eigen wens versieren. Zoals je kunt zien heb ik er een doosverdeler in gemaakt. Die maak je door de hoogte 2 keer bij de lengte of breedte op te tellen en dan een dal/berg/dalvouw op de plaats waar je hem wil hebben. Veel plezier ermee.
