Voor iedereen die graag 3D kaarten maakt heb ik deze SVG van een enveloppendoosje gemaakt. Veel plezier ermee.
Since it is almost winter now, you probably have a lot of autumn pictures. I bet you can use those leaves I made in the new MTC program. Again I exported it as SVG so you all can use it:-) If you want to use just one leaf, ungroup the image. Then you can copy and paste each image to another page. The leaf with the wholes in it has to be grouped again so you can copy and past it all together. Have fun.
Omdat het nu bijna winter is, heb je vast nog veel herfstfoto’s liggen waarbij je deze bladeren, die ik in het nieuwe MTC programma gemaakt heb, goed kunt gebruiken. Ik heb ze weer geëxporteerd als SVG, zodat iedereen het kan gebruiken:-) Als je maar één blaadje wilt gebruiken moet je nadat je de SVG geimporteerd hebt, kiezen voor “ungroup”. Daarna kun je ieder afzonderlijk plaatje naar een nieuwe pagina kopieren. Het blaadje met de openingen moet je eerst selecteren en weer grouperen om het gezamelijk te verplaatsen. Veel plezier ermee.
I used the new program “Make the Cut” for this button box file and exported it as an SVG file. So it can be loaded in Scal 1, 2 and other programs which can deal with SVG’s. I hope you enjoy it.
Ik heb het nieuwe programma “Make the Cut” voor deze button box file gebruikt en hem geëxporteerd als SVGfile. Hij kan dus geladen worden in Scal 1 en 2 en in andere programma’s die kunnen omgaan met SVG’s. Veel plezier ermee.
One person, Andy, was fed up with Provocraft and made a new program called “Make the Cut”, which works with your cricut machine. I downloaded the trial version this morning and after exprimenting with it I bought it immediately. It has more easy functions than Scal 2. You can break up a picture in parts when it has different colour, no need to have inkscape for that and you can export your files as SVG, so they can be used with other cutting software as well. It’s an easy to use program, easier then Scal in combination with Inkscape. You can find it here: http://make-the-cut.com So from now on I will post my files as SVG’s.
Er was iemand, Andy, helemaal klaar met Provocraft en hij maakte een nieuw programma “Make the Cut”, wat samenwerkt met je cricutmachine. Ik heb de probeerversie gedownload en na er vanochtend mee geëxpirimenteerd te hebben, heb ik het onmiddelijk gekocht. Het heeft meer functies dan Scal 2. Je kunt plaatjes opbreken in delen wanneer het verschillende kleuren of lijnen heeft, daar heb je Inkscape niet meer voor nodig en je kunt je files exporteren als SVG, zodat ze ook gebruikt kunnen worden bij andere snijsoftware. Het is een makkelijk programma, makkelijker dan Scal 2 in combinatie met Inkscape. Je kunt het hier vinden: http://make-the-cut.com. Vanaf nu af aan zal ik mijn files posten als SVG’s.

As you all know, since I told you before, we have the tradition of Saint Nicolas instead of Santa Claus. We celebrate it at the 5th of december with surprise gifts and poems, which are supposed to be funny and about the person you give the surprise to. Here are the surprise gifts I have made. I couldn’t publish them too soon, because otherwise the persons who they where for would see them as well.
Zoals jullie allemaal weten, omdat ik het al eerder verteld heb, hebben we hier de traditie van Sinterklaas in plaats van de kerstman. We vieren dat op de 5 deember met surprises en met gedichten, die grappig moeten zijn en over de persoon moeten gaan die de surprise krijgt. Hier zijn de surprises die ik gemaakt heb. Ik kon ze niet te vroeg plaatsen, anders zouden de personen voor wie ze bedoeld waren ze ook te zien krijgen.
For my oldest son, since he lost his wallet this year with all his bank cards and ID card in it. It’s made of paper and then I embossed it with blank embossing powder, making lines randomly before heating the powder, so you get a fake leather look. In it a movieticket.
Voor mijn oudste zoon, omdat hij zijn portemonnaie kwijt raakte met al zijn bankpassen en ID kaart erin. Hij is gemaakt van papier en daarna geëmbossed met embossingpoeder, waarbij ik willekeurig lijnen heb getrokken voordat ik het poeder verhitte, zodat je een leder-look zou krijgen. Erin een bioscoopbon.
For his girlfriend, which I don’t know quit well yet since they are seeing each other for 2 months now and I had met her only once before we celebrated Saint Nicolas. I bought her a movieticket as well.
Voor zijn vriendin, die ik nog niet zo goed ken, omdat ze nog maar 2 maanden verkering hebben en ik haar nog maar één keer ontmoet had voor de Sinterklaasviering. Voor haar ook een bioscoopbon.
For our niece Magda, she is very girly, so a little purse for her with some earrings in them.
Voor ons nichtje Magda, een echt meisje, dus voor haar een tasje met oorbellen erin.
For our brother in law, since he is building little houses and other buildings for his railway village. In the house I had stashed some stuff to make bread, since he loves to do that.
Voor onze zwager omdat hij allemaal kleine huisjes en andere gebouwen maakt voor zijn modelspoorbaan. Erin zaten allemaal bakspullen voor de broodbakmachine, een andere hobby van hem.
It has been snowing all night and all day. We didn’t have this much snow for many years, at least not in our city. Since the children are free from school I bet they will have a blast tomorrow, playing around in it. Normally I don’t show pictures of my personal life, but now I had to:-)
Het heeft de hele nacht en dag al gesneeuwd. Wij hebben al in jaren niet zoveel sneeuw gehad, tenminste, niet in ons dorp. Omdat de kinderen vrij zijn van school wed ik dat ze morgen ontzettend veel plezier gaan maken in de sneeuw. Normaal gesproken plaats ik hier geen privéfoto’s, maar nu kon ik het niet laten:-)
One of the Dutch souvenirs are a pair of “klompen”, or wooden shoes as all foreign people call them. As a child I have had some of them and particularly when there was snow they kept your feet warm and your normal shoes where not damaged by all the snow and salt which was on the road. In many places in our country there are still people who wear them, like for instance in Staphorst, Volendam, Edam, Spakenburg etc. I have always loved them and have great memories of them. I made them into a scal 2 file for all the Dutch scrappers and for all of you who have visited our country. Have fun with it.
Eén van de Nederlandse souveniers is een paar “klompen”, of houten schoenen, zoals alle buitenlanders ze noemen. Als kind had ik regematig een paar klompen en vooral als het sneeuwde hielden ze je voeten warm en het zorgde ervoor dat je gewone schoenen niet aangetast werden door de sneeuw en het zout op de weg. In veel plaatsen in ons land zijn er nog mensen die ze dragen, zoals bv. in Staphorst, Volendam, Edam, Spakenburg etc. Ik heb ze altijd leuk gevonden en heb er leuke herinneringen aan. Ik heb ze omgezet in een Scal 2 file voor alle Nederlandse scrappers en voor iedereen die ons land ooit bezocht heeft. Veel plezier ermee.
