Sweatpie1501 asked the designers on the cricutboard who was interested in making this stationary of Jackie Topa. I had seen it once before and thought it was lovely so I took the challenge in making it. Credits for the design go to Jackie Topa of course, but credits for the cut files are mine.
To make sure no one is left out it’s made for the Big E as well in George as in Plantin Schoolbook. For the babybug it’s made in George and for the create it’s made in Don Juan. For the small babybugowners: The base file has two pieces which you have to glue together in the middle, so you get the same form as shown in the designguide from Jackie Topa. It’s also a bit smaller then the Big E cut, because otherwise it wouldn’t fit on the mat. The other difference is that Jackie uses a full 12 x 12 paper, but since we as big E owners can’t use the whole mat I have adjusted the sizes. This is why there is no room voor the pen holder anymore.
As you can see, each cut has it’s own page with scorelines. It works like this. Load you paper and cut the design. Leave your mat in the machine, but set you blade dept to 1 and your pressure to medium. Then go to the page with the scorelines and hit the cut button again. Now it will only make the scorelines very lightly. If you can’t see the scorelines, set the blade dept a little higher or the pressure. Before you cut another design, don’t forget to adjust your blade dept and pressure again!!!
I didn’t embellish my box yet, because I don’t know who is gone get it, so I wait with embellishing it until i know. For that same reason I didn’t make the address book yet. Have fun with your “Stationary”

Sweatpie1501 vroeg aan de designers van het cricuboard of iemand geinteresseerd was in het maken van de stationary van Jackie Topa. Ik had het al eens eerder gezien en vond hem toen al leuk, dus nam ik de uitdaging aan. Credits voor het ontwerp gaan naar Jackie Topa natuurlijk, maar de credits voor de cutfiles zijn voor mij. Om niemand buiten te sluiten heb ik de file voor de Big E gebruikers gemaakt in zowel George als Plantin Schoolbook. Voor de babybug is hij gemaakt in George en voor de creategebruikers in Don Juan. Voor de babybug gebruikers: De basisfile bestaat uit 2 delen die je in het midden aan elkaar moet plakken zodat je dezelfde figuur krijgt als in de designguide van Jackie Topa. Hij is ook wat kleiner dan die van de Big E, anders paste het niet op de pagina. Nog een verschil is dat Jackie een volledig vel 12 x 12 papier gebruikt, maar omdat wij als Big E gebruikers niet de hele mat kunnen gebruiken heb ik ook hiervan het formaat iets moeten aanpassen, waardoor de penhouder niet meer geplaatst kan worden.

Zoals je kunt zien heeft iedere cut zijn eigen pagina met scorelijnen. Dat werkt zo. Laad je pagina en snij het patroon. Laat de mat in de machine zitten, maar zet de snijdiepte op 1 en de druk op medium. Ga naar de juiste pagina met de scorelijnen en druk op de snijbutton. Nu zal het de scorelijnen heel lichtjes snijden. Als je ze dan nog niet kunt zien, dan de snijdiepte of de druk iets hoger zetten. Vergeet niet om voor het snijden van een volgend patroon deze instellingen weer aan te passen.
Ik heb mijn doos nog niet versierd, omdat ik nog niet weet aan wie ik hem ga geven. Daar wacht ik dus mee totdat ik het weet. Om dezelfde reden heb ik ook het adresboekje nog niet gemaakt. Veel plezier met je “Stationary”.
