I had seen a great card for children in the Papercrafts magazine. I wanted to have the Measuring Tape as a cutfile so it could be easely made again. The cutfile is made as well in George as well in Plantin.
For the card itself, cut a piece of cardstock of 7 x 7 3/4 inch. Score at 3 1/4 inch, so when folded you have a card of 7 x 4 1/2 inch. Cut the measuring tape of white cardstock and cut a piece of 3 x 7 inch black cardstock to glue behind the measuring tape. Cut the numbers you need at 1 inch height, real size off!! Glue the number of the age of the birthday girl or boy at the 4the place from the top. Glue the other numbers on the measuring tape. Cut an arrow of 1,5 inch width and 2 inch long. Stamp Today on the arrow. Glue the arrow on the measuring tape pointing at the age. Stamp happy birthday in different colours at the side of the measuring tape. Glue the measuring tape on your card, 1/4 inch from the fold line.
Ik zag een leuke kaart voor kinderen in het Papercrafts magazine. Ik wilde de centimeter graag als cutfile, zodat hij makkelijk nog eens gemaakt kan worden. De cutfile is gemaakt in zowel George als Plantin.
Voor de kaart zelf, snij een stuk cardstock van 7 x 7 3/4 inch. Score op 3 1/4 inch, zodat je een gevouwen kaart hebt van 7 x 4 1/2 inch. Snij de centimeter van wit cardstock en snij een stuk zwarte cardstock van 3 x 7 inch om erachter te lijmen. Snij de nummers die je nodig hebt op 1 inch hoogte, real size uit!!. Lijm het nummer van de leeftijd op de 4de plek van boven. Lijm de andere nummers op de centimeter. Snij een pijl van 1,5 inch breed en 2 inch lang. Stempel daar Today of Vandaag op. Lijm de pijl op de centimeter zodat hij wijst naar de leeftijd van de jarige. Stempel Happy Birthday of Gefeliciteerd in verschillende kleuren op de zijkant van de centimeter. Lijm de centimeter op je kaart, ongeveer 1/4 inch van de vouwlijn.
