Unfortunally I had to make a sympathy card today. The base is a white card of 4 x 6 inches. I used grey cardstock and the embossing folders and the cuttlebug. De text has been printed and I used a punch to make the tag. I planted an inlay in the card with our personal message on one side and a poët on the other side. The poët is difficult to translate. I will make an attempt. Sorry If i made any mistakes.

When the rumoer around you has struck
The procession has passed, the shuffling feet
I feel that there is a deep silence coming
And in that silence I will meet you again
And each time I will encounter you
We say much too soon: it is over
He has only removed your body
Not who you are or what you said
I will still make jokes with you
We will walk together through the landscape
And now you can’t touch my hands anymore
You touch my heart even more!

Helaas heb ik vandaag weer een condoleancekaart moeten maken. De basis is een witte kaart van 10 x 15 cm. Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van grijze cardstock en de embossingfolders van de cuttlebug. De tekst is geprint en daarna geponst.
Aan de binnenkant van de kaart heb ik een inlegvel geplaatst met daarop onze persoonlijke boodschap en het volgende gedicht:

Als ‘t rumoer rondom jou is verstomd
De stoet voorbij is, de schuifelende voeten
Dan voel ik dat er een diepe stilte komt
En in die stilte zal ik je opnieuw ontmoeten
En telkens weer zal ik je tegenkomen
We zeggen veel te gauw: het is voorbij
Hij heeft alleen je lichaam weggenomen
Niet wie je was en ook niet wat je zei
Ik zal nog altijd grapjes met je maken
We zullen samen door het landschap gaan
Nu je mijn handen niet meer aan kunt raken
Raak je mijn hart nog duidelijker aan!
