Last week I was in a scrapbook store and saw a very cute Christmas mini album. I thought it as easy enough for me to make a look-a-like for you in CDS (.cut file) and in Scal 2 (.scut file). The CDS file is made with the cartridges George, Christmas and Christmas Cheer. You can bind the pages with a binding ring. Vorige week was ik in een scrapbookwinkel en daar zal ik een heel schattig kerstalbumpje. Ik vond hem makkelijk genoeg om een look-a-like te maken voor jou in CDS (.cut file) en in Scal 2 (.scut file). De CDSfile is gemaakt met de cartridges George, Christmas en Christmas Cheer. A while ago I made an edgy chipboard album look-a-like and I thought to try another one. It’s a look-a-like of one of the clear albums of Clear Scraps. I made it into an SVG file. You can bind the album with the bind-it-all or with bind-it rings. If you don’t want to miss any of my free files, you can leave your email address (not public) in the “Follow this Blog” section at the right menu. You only receieve an email when I have put something new on my blog. Hope you enjoy it.
Een tijd geleden heb ik een edgy chipboard album look-a-like gemaakt en ik wilde er nog een maken. Het is een look-a-like van een clear album van Clear Scraps. Ik heb er een SVG file van gemaakt. Je kunt het album inbinden met ringen of met de bind-it-all. Als je geen gratis files wilt missen kun je je emailadres (niet openbaar) achterlaten bïj de “Volg dit blog” sectie in het rechter menu. Je ontvangt alleen een email als er iets nieuws is geplaatst. Veel plezier ermee.

Yesterday I made a look-a-like of the Kaiser Craft Christmas Tree in George, babybug compatible and in three widhts. I know it’s a bit early, but better now then to late:-) Hope you enjoy it.

Today I made a quick mini album (2,25 x 3 inch, 4 pages) with round tabs in George. I saw them in a scrapbookstore and thought it would be simple to make in CDS. Officially the album had rings in them, but I decided not to put holes in them, so you can decide how you want to bind it. Have fun with it.
Vandaag heb ik een klein minialbumpje (2,25 x 3 inch, 4 pagina’s) gemaakt met ronde tabs, in George. Ik zag ze in een scrapbookwinkel en bedacht dat het heel simpel na te maken zou zijn in CDS. Officieel was het album gebonden met 3 ringen, maar ik heb besloten er geen gaten in te maken, zodat je zelf kunt beslissen hoe je hem wilt inbinden. Veel plezier ermee.

Remember this mini album? Marjorie loved it and asked me for the cut file. But back then, I didn’t have CDS, so I cut it all out by hand, tracing the basecamp letters. I promised her to make it this week and her it is. It’s made for the big E with George and Basecamp. Have fun with it.
Herinneren jullie je dit minialbumpje? Marjorie vond hem heel leuk en vroeg me om de cutfile. In die tijd had ik echter nog geen CDS, dus had ik alles met de hand gesneden, daarbij de letters van Basecamp als mal gebruikend. Ik beloofde haar er deze week een file van te maken. In may we are going to visit a friend of us, who lives in Paris. Since i hadn’t an Eifel Tower I made a simple one myself. Hope you enjoy it.
In mei gaan we weer op bezoek bij een vriendin van ons, die in Parijs woont. Omdat ik geen Eifeltoren had, heb ik zelf een simpele gemaakt. Veel plezier ermee.
Yesterday I stumbled on a movie about a 3D-pop-up card and I really loved it. It’s great for mothers day or any other special occasions. Of course I wasn’t planning to cut it all out by hand, so I have made an SVG file and I created a designguide:-) I must warn you, I only designed the pop-up flowers. The leaves I used are punches. Gisteren kwam ik een filmpje tegen van een 3D pop-up kaart en ik vond hem fantastisch. Hij is heel erg leuk voor moederdag of een andere speciale gelegenheid. Natuurlijk was ik niet van plan om alles uit te gaan knippen, dus heb ik een SVG file gemaakt, zodat iedereen die kan gebruiken en ik heb een handleiding gemaakt:-) Ik moet je wel waarschuwen dat ik alleen de pop-up bloemen heb gemaakt, voor de de bladeren heb ik punches gebruikt. Remember this card? Apparently the idea of the pop-up Sizzix spinner is not new. There is a file on the internet which is quite similar as the Sizzix spinner. You can find it here – Go to “Make it” and choose “Blooming Flower”. This is the reason why I have decided to share my pop-up spinner cutfile. The file is made in George in 4 different sizes and will be exclusive till 1 august 2009 for donaters who make a donation starting with 5 euro’s or more in april, may or june 2009. I think they deserve something extra. Thanks again:-)

Herinner je je deze kaart? Blijkbaar is het idee van de pop-up Sizzix spinner niet echt nieuw. Er is een file op het internet die vrijwel gelijk is als de Sizzix spinner. Je kunt hem hier vinden – ga naar “Make it” en kies “Blooming Flower”. Daarom heb ik besloten om mijn pop-up spinner cutfile te delen. De file is gemaakt in George in 4 verschillende formaten en is exclusief tot 1 augustus 2009 voor donateurs die een donatie doen vanaf 5 euro in april, mei of juni 2009. Finally I finished my project for our next vacation to France. It’s a re-usable Travel Portfolio. It has taken me many days to come up with the embellishments, allthough the original idea for the portfolio came from Anne’s Blog. I loved it and thought it would be great to make it with the cartridges Going Places and Graphically Speaking. Next to those two I also used George and Basecamp. The file is a zipfile with several cut files and pdf files in it and also the instructions on how to make it. So before you can work with it, you have to unzip it. Because of the size of this project, you need the Big E. If you don’t have Graphically Speaking or Going Places, you can make the portfolio with the pockets and envelopes with George only and make your own embellishments with the cartridges you have. The embellishements are made mostly with GS and some with GP and G. All the text is made with Base Camp and replacable with another font.
I have made a non reusable one for myself, cause I wanted to put pictures in it as well. So I left everyback of the page blank for my vacation layouts. You can put more envelopes and pockets on the pages I left blank and embellish them as you want. I would be very pleased if you show me your creations, since it has taken me so many houres to make:-) Have fun with it.

Eindelijk ben ik klaar met mijn project voor onze volgende vakantie naar Frankrijk. Het is een herbruikbare Reisportfolio. Het heeft me veel dagen gekost om de embellishments te verzinnen, alhoewel het originele idee van de portfolio van Anne’s Blog kwam. Ik vond het direct erg mooi en dacht dat het leuk zou zijn om hem te maken met de cartridges Going Places en Graphically Speaking. Naast deze twee heb ik ook gebruik gemaakt van George en Basecamp. De file is een zipfile, waarin meerdere cutfiles en pdf files zitten, waaronder een werkbeschrijving. Voordat je aan de slag kan moet je deze dus unzippen. Vanwege de grootte van dit project heb je de Big E nodig. Mocht je Going Places en Graphically Speaking niet hebben, dan kun je de portfolio maken met de pockets en enveloppes met George alleen en je eigen embellishments maken met de cartridges die je hebt. De embellishments van mijn portfolio zijn het meest gemaakt met GS en sommige met GP en G. De tekst is allemaal gemaakt met Base Camp en vervangbaar voor een ander lettertype.
Ik heb een niet herbruikbare gemaakt voor mezelf, want ik wil er ook foto’s in van mijn vakantie. Daarom heb ik iedere achterkant van mijn pagina’s leeg gelaten voor de layouts. Je kunt natuurlijk zelf meer enveloppes en pockets plaatsen of de lege pagina’s en deze naar eigen inzicht versieren. Ik zou het zeer op prijs stellen als jullie me jullie creaties laten zien, omdat het mij zoveel uren heeft gekost om te maken:-) Veel plezier ermee.
